Civil and structural engineering design services for a new 15-unit affordable housing development in Hertfordshire. The project is split tenure (shared ownership and affordable rent).
The development comprised two storey timber framed buildings with associated access road, external works, car parking, S104 drainage, and S278 design works.
Civil works included a challenging solution for foul drainage which included a Foul Pumping Station and S104 adoption.
The surface water SuDS-based drainage solution included 100% Source Control with a combination of Permeable Pavements and Attenuation / Infiltration Tank.
The S278, S104 and S38 works packages were delivered to time, expected quality and within budget.
