The project brought together three separate local surgeries into a brand new state of the art community medical center, located on the edge of Darley Dale near Matlock in Derbyshire.
The new facility provides 10 consulting rooms, with associated training, record and ancillary accommodation on a new accessible site.
Our scope of service included both civil & structural engineering design disciplines for the development, including external works and on site roads, storm and foul drainage and new S278 site access off Dale Road North.
The structural design comprised a hybrid load bearing masonry and steel frame with lightweight roof to achieve the clear spans required to the ground floor communal spaces and reception areas.
