Our technical delivery teams use various digital engineering tools to organise the constructional design information we produce. Our approach is bespoke and tailored to suit individual projects.
We maintain multiple seats of Autodesk’s AEC Collection suite, so our teams have access to whatever tools they need.
Our structural design project information is authored in Revit, civil engineering design information is created using Civil3D and AutoCAD, and throughout the design phase we bring the information together in Navisworks to ensure substructure and underground drainage are fully coordinated and clash-free before the Contractor even gets to site.
We have clearly defined systems in place for best practice management of incoming and outgoing information, and when it comes to exchanging our design outputs with the wider design team, we can provide any combination of PDF, DWG, RVT, IFC, BCF and NWC formats to suit any specific integrated project delivery strategy.
Where our design requires reinforced concrete, then we use Revit to model and schedule all the rebar.
This means we can use the software to quickly and automatically check for clashes, produce accurate error-free bending schedules, and generate 3D visuals of complex arrangements alongside traditionally formatted RC drawings.
