Brentford FC Training Ground

Our scope of work included both pre and post planning Civil and Structural Engineering advice and design for the proposed new temporary performance centre for Brentford FC at their Jersey Road site. The project is likely to be in place for up to five years, enabling the Club to continue to develop its plans for a new permanent performance centre, whilst representing a significant improvement over its existing facilities.

Our scope of work included; preparing Flood Risk Assessment (FRA) and SuDS drainage strategy reports to support planning, detailed Civil Engineering design of new on site access road, car parking, external works and associated storm and foul drainage design, together with Structural Engineering design of the foundations to the 80 module two-storey Portakabin building and foundations and ground floor slab to the separate fabric and glulam arched indoor training facility.

The two-storey modular building was erected in 14 days and will provide 3,200 sq. m of office space, changing rooms and medical treatment rooms. There will also be a hydrotherapy suite, a cryotherapy unit and plunge pool.
