At Barnsley Marshall we are very focussed on customer service and relationships. We believe that business is about people and we enjoy the feeling and satisfaction that giving our clients great service provides. We value long term mutually beneficial relationships with our clients and fellow professionals, above short-term gain.
We believe that fundamentally engineering is about solving problems and that one solution does not fit all. We are passionate and adept at solving problems in the most appropriate way and seek to explore alternative solutions and approaches in order to arrive at the right result.
We also understand risk and the implications that our design solutions might have on the overall success of a project, from a technical, practical, financial and commercial perspective. Our clients tell us that this adds significant value to the overall design process. In practical terms, what this means for our clients, is that from the outset we consider the overall implications of our design solutions on the overall success of each particular project. We explore alternatives, drawing on our experience, and work with our clients and other members of the design team to arrive at the most appropriate solutions for each particular project. This approach results in projects running more smoothly saving clients time, resources and money.
We are approachable, open minded, interested in other people’s point of view and keen to explore and understand new technologies, materials and approaches, but don’t lose sight of traditional simple practical approaches to problems.
We believe in fairness, trust and respect and these, along with others, are key points of our culture. We are proactive team players, and will happily take the lead in order to drive a project or process forward, should the need arise.
